Camp Layman is a resort featuring rustic cabin rentals on U.S. Forest Service property.
The Camp is situated on the Middle Fork of the Feather River, about 5 miles west of Blairsden. (Halfway between Portola and Quincy.)
The Camp was established in the 1920's and 1930's for local miners and railroad workers.
Friendly dogs are welcome for a $25 fee per dog, with a maximum of two dogs per cabin.
There is a three night minimum stay June through August.

Camp Layman is owned and operated by Camp Layman, LLC, a family-owned and operated business. The 3.5 acre site is on land in the Feather River canyon owned by the National Forest Service
Camp Layman offers a unique vacation experience in our rustic cabins nestled in the mountain pines of the Plumas National Forest. Just a short walk from swimming and fishing in the beautiful Feather River, these rustic cabins provide a quiet, relaxing break from the city. Originally constructed in the 1920s, Camp Layman features 13 cabins of various sizes and all are equipped with bathrooms and kitchenettes.
